A new award for the Texas Shows!

2011 Award

The award will be given for points accumulated at the following shows:
2011 Moonwalker Memorial Horse Show,
2012 The Texas Jubilee, and
2012 Gaited Gala Horse Show

After spending his life preparing gaited horses and their owners for the show ring, Dub Ivins, would like to encourage youth and amateur adult riders to continue the tradition he loves so well.

This award program is structured to promote the sound show horse. Competitors for the award must be members of the NWHA and will compete at three shows in Texas: The Moonwalker Memorial Show, The Texas Jubilee, and The Gaited Gala. The trophy will be presented at the Moonwalker Memorial. In addition to the trophy, the recipient will have a donation to the NWHA made in his/her honor. The winner will be recognized on the NWHA website, the Gaited Gala website and the Happy Hill Stable website.

Points will go with the rider and will accrue in all classes in each of the shows.

We will present one award at the end of the season.
The recipient will receive a trophy and a donation will be made to NWHA in their honor.
